Curriculum Vitae
In addition to my position at the University of Hamburg, I have served as Professor of Economics at the School of Business and Economics of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, as Bundesbank Professor for Monetary Theory and Policy at the Department of Economics of the Free University of Berlin and as Adjunct Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics and Finance of Tallinn University of Technology. Furthermore, I have also served as Stephen Turnovsky Fellow in the School of Economics and Finance, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. Moreover, I am a CESifo Research Fellow, Centre for Economic Studies and Ifo Institute for Economic Research in Munich.
As a frequent Visiting Fellow, I have contributed evidence to the Bank of Finland, the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), Office for Asia and the Pacific in Hong Kong, the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) in Basel, the Hong Kong Institute for Monetary Research (HKIMR), the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington, and the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) in Singapur.
